"GOOD OMENS" GOT A SECOND SEASON

The series starring David Tennant and Michael Sheen will return for another battle for humanity. According to media reports, the Amazon streaming service has decided to renew the fantasy project "Good Omens" for a new season. The plot of the project will go beyond the original story, which was told in Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett's book, released thirty years ago.

Michael Sheen and David Tennant will again take on the roles of the angel Asiraphael and the demon Crowley, who were last seen celebrating the prevention of the Apocalypse in a hotel in London. Note that the series, introduced to the public two years ago, won a Hugo Award.

Gaiman intends to continue to serve as producer and screenwriter, while Douglas McKinnon will return to direct.

The new season is scheduled to explore the buddy relationship between the fussy angel Azirafael and the serene demon Crowley. The characters have been on Earth since the Beginning of Time, thwarting the onset of the Apocalypse.

Filming of the second season, which contains six episodes, will start at the end of this year on the territory of Scotland. A premiere date will be announced at a later date.
